As ‘Experts in Property Accounts’, it might seem strange that we consider property and service charge accounts to be a secondary aspect of what we do, but it is!
We firmly believe that our primary focus is, and always has been, to get to know our clients and build a long-lasting relationship with them so that we can best serve their needs both now and in the future.
Consequently, we do not just work with one party such as the property manager, we are happy to work with the property owners and other stakeholders as well.
How we can help you
We recently had a situation whereby a long-standing client had to engage a new property manager, and the new incumbent wanted to engage the services of an accountant they had previously worked with. We were advised of the new accountant being engaged and thought we had lost the client. However, the owners of the property, who we had also worked closely with over the years were adamant that we should be retained. Their argument was very compelling in that they said we:
- knew their properties and how the accounting process for each was set up;
- had always provided a top quality service to the property company; and
- produced the service charge accounts quickly and efficiently in a format they knew and understood.
Furthermore, having worked closely together for many years, both parties had developed a mutual respect and trust of each other, which created a pleasant and professional working dynamic. As a result, the property manager has retained us and we are working hard to build a close working relationship with them, as we have done with the owner.
Building a strong, workable relationship, where we understand the client’s needs is what we aim to achieve. Giving our client’s the satisfaction of knowing we can deliver their property and service charge accounts accurately and on time and within a short timeframe, is what helps to keep those relationships alive.
